Nestled in the Cotswold countryside, stands Coombe End Manor – a discreet, private and beautiful manor house. Attracting couples from all over the world seeking the quintessential English wedding, the gorgeous Coombe End Manor has an abundance of outdoor spaces including beautifully manicured gardens, swimming pool with pool house and tennis court – all with the stunning Cotswolds countryside as it’s backdrop. It was the perfect venue for the vision that planner Lizzi Zarowski of Lizzi Zarowski Weddings had for this shoot:
“This editorial was inspired by the soft beauty of southern France and the timeless classical elegance of the Cotswolds. I wanted to blend that rich heritage with a fresh, modern spirit – creating something that felt both romantic and refined.
Leaning into a delicate palette of powder blue and crisp white, we curated a dreamy, light-filled atmosphere infused with intricate lace textures and sculptural florals. The concept was designed to evoke serenity and understated luxury, drawing on the enduring charm of European design while embracing the effortless sophistication of contemporary bridal style.
From ethereal gowns to bespoke stationery suites and a delicate macaron tower, each detail was chosen to express quiet opulence and refined intention – for couples drawn to thoughtful design and quiet romance.”
To make the most of the various spaces available at Coombe End Manor and the wonderful creative team that Lizzi had assembled, there were various different ‘looks’ captured by talented photographer Danielle Veitch:
Look 1: The first look for this editorial, made use of the poolside space available at Coombe End Manor.

Look 2: The second look featured an intimate outdoor ceremony – combining the timeless. classical elegance and rich heritage that was at the heart of the concept for this shoot.

Look 3: Look 3 featured an elegant and intimate outdoor wedding breakfast, with a breathtaking tablescape, oozing understated luxury and refinement. Sculptural florals, bespoke stationery and beautiful linen and tableware elevated the look.

Look 4: A bespoke bar and lounge area, together with a classical piano and decadent cake and macaron tower dominated look 4, perfectly combining the traditional and the modern with an overall European feel.

Cake/macaron tower design inspiration
With the cake and macaron tower being set up outside, I knew I wanted to include floral elements into the design. Lizzi’s creative moodboard illustrated her desire to create a timeless elegance with a modern and luxurious feel to the styling. An abundance of florals were featured in whites and various shades of blue. I love working with tall designs as they have such an impact and included both square and round tiers in this design for a more modern twist to provide a contrast to the vintage style piped details on the cake. Floral embossing and sugar flowers also featured, to bring a softness and femininity to the design, whilst also complimenting the colour palette and fresh florals for the shoot.

I was also keen to include a macaron tower to really add to the opulence and luxurious feel of the day; also providing a delicacy to the look. The cake and macaron tower were beautifully styled with fresh flowers surrounding them.
