From sending us a tasting box so we could try her delicious flavours to a design consultation to go through our cake in fine detail to the amazing cake she made for our big day, the whole process was smooth and easy.
We had originally tried some of Louise’s cake at a wedding fair just after we got engaged and we didn’t want to select anyone else to do our cake after that. We didn’t have much cake left the next morning so clearly it was a huge hit with our guests!
We honestly cannot recommend Louise enough to anyone else looking for a spectacular (and delicious!) wedding cake.”

“From the moment we met Louise at Easthampstead wedding fair, we knew she would be perfect for us! Her attention to the design and detail was exactly what we were looking for! We also knew we wanted something different! I always tend to think that some people don’t care about the cake, it’s one of the last things on their to do list and they get one because they feel they need to. This certainly was not my mindset!
We wanted our cake to be a show stopper, one people would say WOW look how beautiful that is! And I can honestly say, it really was that and MORE!
Louise completely got the brief from day one, her 1st sketch was exactly what I had envisaged, and on the day it really was everything I had dreamed of.
It had height, elegance, attention to detail, beautiful and delicate sugar flowers, gold ribbon, crisp and smooth white icing and not forgetting it tasted amazing (although we actually didn’t have any of our cake!! We can vouch for the taste based on our sample box but also the compliments we received from our guests!). Any worries or concerns I had with anything, Louise answered straight away, putting my mind at ease and worries aside.
My Husband, Daley, didn’t have much input in the cake, he knew that I had my heart set on a design and left me be to run with it. On the day he was blown away by our cake! I can remember us both standing next to the cake getting ready to cut it and him looking up at it and saying, he had never seen anything like it! That couldn’t be more true and we can’t thank Louise enough for all her hard work, endless hours and patience in designing and making our cake.
She really is the most talented cake designer and baker. I’ve never seen a cake like ours, and neither have our guests. It was breathtaking!

“Unlike any other cake designer we had spoken to previously, Louise was extremely personable and lovely, asked questions and genuinely took an interest in what we were looking for to see if she would be a right fit for our needs, instead of saying ‘yes’ for the booking.
What sealed the deal for us was the quality of the samples we tried….. absolutely OUTSTANDING! it was all we could talk about for the rest of the afternoon. The quality of the ingredients, the talent of the baking and designs on show were unbelievable. I even ordered another sample box shortly after our initial consultation, just because it was the best White chocolate & raspberry cake I had ever tasted… that white chocolate ganache… if you know, you know
Louise was extremely flexible when our designs changed slightly, before the wedding, including the additions of macarons as favours. The design she sketched out turned out to be an exact replica of the real thing…. my PERFECT wedding cake and our guests were raving about the macarons!
I would say RUN, don’t walk to book Louise as your wedding cake designer. She is super talented, a genuinely lovely person, and her communication throughout the planning was exceptional, something which is really important when planning a wedding.”

If you are looking for someone to make your wedding cake then I would highly recommend Louise. She’s very professional and easy to deal with along with being incredibly friendly.
From our first chat I knew Louise was perfect to make our cake. She got to know us as a couple and what our vision was for our cake. We loved the fact that we could have a different flavour for each layer of our cake – the only problem was deciding which flavours to pick as they are all delicious!!
Communication with Louise was always easy and coming up to the wedding she was really helpful with different questions I had. We had fresh flowers as decoration on the cake and Louise liaised with the florist – saving us a job (so appreciated when there are so many things to sort coming up to the big day!)
On the day itself, we were delighted when we saw our cake and even happier when we tasted it!! Each layer was delicious! We’ve had so many compliments on our cake and it’s been lovely hearing how everyone had a different favourite flavour!

“We first met Louise at a wedding fair. We were impressed by the model cakes she had on her stand, in particular one design with ruffles. We took away a couple of samples and tried them straight away – we couldn’t believe how tasty and moist the flavours were (so we went back for more!)
We met Louise to discuss our wedding cake design. She was so friendly and seamlessly wove her and our ideas together to come up with a beautiful design. One of our wedding colours was teal and she went above and beyond to design a teal colour to match the colour scheme.
We found it tricky to decide on cake flavours- we would have needed a 5 tier cake to have all the flavours we wanted! We specially asked our wedding venue not to cut the entire cake- I would have been gutted not to have had a slice of each tier!
We received so many compliments on both the look and taste of our cake. We are so pleased we chose Louise to be part of our special day – what a friendly, kind and talented baker! “
