Spring bridal shoot with luxury wedding cake, designer gowns and blush florals in Mapledurham’s quintessentially English country estate.

I’m so excited to be sharing the images from this wonderful shoot with you. Captured at the stunning Mapledurham Estate where an amazing team of suppliers collaborated to bring this concept to life.

The shoot was predominantly a bridal fashion shoot, orchestrated by the very talented Kate from Queen Bee Bridal, but looked to really showcase the quirky interiors and fabulous grounds of this incredible English country estate.

There were 3 concept looks for the shoot, captured beautifully throughout the day in the form of still shots by Meghan from Megan Daisy Photopraphy and video by Pauline at Love and Lace Media

Concept 1 Traditional.
The initial concept centred around a traditional ball gown style dress with strong floral arrangements from The F Word Flowers, a fully decorated table from Crystal Hire Ltd with stationary by Grace & Bramble and balloon arch courtesy of Atticus & Hope.

Concept 2 Whimsical.
A much softer look for the second concept with a delicate bouquet and intimate table set up for two on the beautiful lawns of the Mapledurham estate.

Concept 3: Fun,
Concept 3 had more of a city vibe with the bride featured in a modern 2 piece, captured off guard during her reception

The cakes themselves looked to compliment the grandeur of the estate whilst maintaining a softness that was reflected in the bridalwear and floral tones. Modern in their design, all 3 cakes featured sharp, sugarpaste finishes, a medium I love to use in all of my cake designs and a skill I have been perfecting over many years. All cakes featured a lace textured tier, small sugar pearls and a soft, nude ribbon cascading down the cakes to compliment the bridal gowns.
