What gets you in the Christmas spirit more than a winter wedding shoot?! Think cosy tablescape, a rich colour palette and an abundance of fairy lights!
This was such a magical styled shoot and I’m so excited to share these images with you so close to Christmas! The shoot took place at the beautiful Barn at Somersbury, nestled in the Surrey Countryside. The barn itself boasts a stunning vaulted ceiling, oak beans and looks out onto wildflower meadows. It is a truly picturesque setting.
Hannah from HB Weddings had a vision to creat a magical winter wedding setting with a cosy but glamorous twist and I think you’ll agree that she achieved this!
The rich colour palette for the shoot was made up of berry pinks, emerald green and gold. Hannah was keen to showcase a dessert table as well as a cake so I took inspiration from the mood board she created and the colour palette to design a modern 2 tier deep pink cake with a clear ‘spacer’ to really showcase the hand made sugar peonies that adorned the cake.
The dessert table was made up of a combination of macarons, cakesicles, chocolate spheres, cupcakes and sugar biscuits, all complimenting the design of the cake and the style of the shoot.
The space looked absolutely beautiful adorned with flowers from The Artisan Floral Studio and the personalised stationary from Lucca Studios bought an opulence to the tablescape. Our real life model couple looked stunning in a variety of dresses by The Farnham Bridal Boutique (including designers Madilane Bridal, Evie Young Bridal and accessories from Victoria Percival Accessories) with beautiful hair and make up by the lovely Olivia Mills MUA).
