Meet Louise

Although my days are now mostly spent in the kitchen whisking, measuring, frosting and baking up a storm, I haven’t always been a foodie.

Sophisticated they were not, but I got addicted to creating highly decorated sweet treats, and determined to improve and refine my skills. Fast forward over a decade, and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. I love that I get to spend my days crafting and creating deliciously elegant wedding cakes to mark the happiest day of my couples’ lives. The learning never stops, though, and I’m always looking for new techniques, clever tricks and enhanced flavours to make sure my work continues to be as polished and luxurious as my clients deserve, pairing my love of contemporary wedding cake design with luxe flavour.

If you could magically create my perfect day, it would involve an early morning walk with my boxer dog and best buddy, Jackson, before a HIIT class at the gym (I find them so exhilarating and always feel amazing afterwards).

Then I’d like to magically transport myself to a sun lounger by an infinity pool in the Caribbean, with a fruity cocktail by my side. Next, dinner with my husband and the chance to dress up with some gorgeous heels and a new handbag, please (I’m an accessories girl!), and then a favourite movie with the kids, bundled up on the sofa under a blanket, with popcorn and maybe some cupcakes as a midnight feast.

That’s a healthy blend of sunshine, snuggles and smiles, which is a great motto for life as far as I’m concerned!
