Spring wedding inspiration for your luxury English countryside wedding

With Spring now upon us, I felt inspired to write a blog all about, you guessed it, Spring weddings!

It’s my absolute favourite season – the awakening of the flowers, the abundance of lush green leaves covering the previously bare trees and shrubs and of course, the longer, lighter and warmer days. It fills me with energy and promise for the summer ahead. And as such, I think it’s such a beautiful time of year to get married!

I’ve been lucky enough to be involved in some stunning Spring weddings and styled shoots so here’s a few of my favourites, which I hope inspire you!

The Mapledurham Estate, Berkshire

This gorgeous bridal shoot was held on the stunning Mapledurham estate in Berkshire and featured an abundance of blush florals, stunning bridalwear and delicate wedding cake designs.

Spring weddings don’t have to be about pastel shades and delicate flowers – this Celestial shoot at the beautiful Froyle Park in Hampshire had a rich and bold colour palette of midnight blue’s and golds and featured one of my favourite cake designs – a contemporary, square midnight blue cake with delicate gold sugar blossoms forming a crescent shape.

The Cowdray Estate, West Sussex

This soft and romantic styed shoot on the stunning Cowdray estate featured the most beautiful tablescape and ceremony set up – an abundance of candles, floral displays and beautiful silk fabrics. The cake set up complimented this theme with 3 designs featuring textured nude shades, delicate sugar flowers and wafer paper sails to add movement and draw in the eye.

I hope these images have inspired your Spring wedding! For more of the same, head over to these blogs for more inspiration from these styled shoots:
